Party Time Tuesdays' Challenge

To find out more about {ippity} stamp kits and project kits, click here.

Fellow Tangled Up In Creativity member, Jenn, is the proud new owner of Party Time Tuesdays!  Check out all the fun details for this week's challenge, here.
The winner will receive Regal Greetings stamp kit by {ippity} stamps.
I've been wanting to make a steampunk style card for awhile, so here's my first attempt.  Here are a few close-ups of some of this card's elements.
The chandelier image is from {ippity}'s Regal Greetings.  I used American Crafts' Black Zing embossing powder to add a little shimmer to the image.  The blue cardstock is by Recollections (Michael's brand), and the oval is mounted on black cardstock cut with a scallop oval nestie.  The pattern paper was made by stamping the key and heart images from {ippity}'s Music of My Heart with Tim Holtz's Tea Bag distressed ink on parchment paper.
The clock work pieces I had (who knows why), the clock face is attached with a brad (prongs showing on the front for "hands").
The black lace and blue organza are scraps.  The charm is leftover from a previous project.

Happy H{ippity} Hop! Monday, May 24

For last week's Hop Challenge we had to make a card using a photo for inspiration (below).  The photo reminded me of the Shabby Chic style in decorating.  This is my "shabby chic" card.  I used an image from Regal Greetings to make the frame for the sentiment.  The lace is scrap and the ribbon from Mike's $1 bin.  The charm is made from poly shrink.  I believe it is Shrinky Dinks brand in almond.  I stamped with Burnt Umber Hybrid ink, cut out, punched a hole in the middle, shrank and then put a glass head pin through.  Close ups are after the inspiration photo.

HAPPY H{IPPITY} HOP MONDAY! - May 3, 2010

This is a "coupon holder" I made for a friend.  She's getting ready to have a little girl.  I'm going to put baby related coupons in it before I send it to her.  I didn't label the pockets because everyone has their own way of organizing.  I also thought she may not want to use it for just coupons, she could also use it to hold appointment cards, gift card, etc.  It is 4 inches (4 1/2 if you count the binding) wide and 5 1/2 inches tall.
Here are come close ups:
The inside pockets, there are 12.

HAPPY H{IPPITY} HOP MONDAY!! - April 12, 2010

This week a made a postage holder.  As you may have figured out by now, I LOVE swaps.  When you send your items to the hostess you also have to include postage for the "swapped" items to return to you.  A fellow swapper had the idea to make the holder pretty to serve as a gift to the hostess.  I must say, I love this idea.
Stamps:  Regal Greetings
Ink:  Gold Embossing Powder
Paper:  American Crafts Black Cardstock, DSP- something I had on hand
Misc: 7 Gypsies Velvet flowers, 10mm Bazzill brads, pocket and tag were made from Cricut cart - Tags, Boxes, and More, Marvy corner punch
Here are some close-ups:

HAPPY {IPPITY} HOP MONDAY!! MARCH 22, 2010

I've been catching up on Swaps.  I thought another good way to promote {ippity} would be to only use {ippity}stamps for the swaps I have to finish.  I made this card for "A Little Something Extra."  The idea for this swap - instead of sending the + 1 item, send supplies you are not going to use (but are taking valuable space) and they will go to a charity.
Here are some close ups:

Happy H{ippity} Hop Monday!!

I received my new kits Saturday.  I just love this chandelier.  So, I had to create something with it!  I have the reputation of being "creative" at work, therefore people are always giving me craft supplies.  I hear, "I know you can do something with this."  The chandelier is stamped and embossed on velvet contact paper someone had given me (I tried embossing with an iron on the contact paper, it didn't work.  I managed to make a mess of the contact paper's adhesive instead).  The patterned paper is flocked from Doodlebug.  Thanks for looking!
