Happy H{ippity} Hop! Monday, June 21

I made this card for my Step-mother, Debbie.  I hope she likes it.  She's not a frilly kind of person, but she loves all things vintage.

Stamps:  Just Wanted to Say, Regal Greeetings
Ink:  Hybrid Burnt Umber
Paper:  Bazzill Cardstock
Misc:  Lace scrap, brad, 7 Gypsies velvet flowers, topaz colored gems

I know yesterday was Father's Day.  This is the card I made my husband.  He really appreciated the washer I used (because I had to raid his workshop for it).
Here are a couple of close-ups:
Thanks for looking!
Stamps:  Where You Should Be

Happy H{ippity} Hop! Monday, May 24

For last week's Hop Challenge we had to make a card using a photo for inspiration (below).  The photo reminded me of the Shabby Chic style in decorating.  This is my "shabby chic" card.  I used an image from Regal Greetings to make the frame for the sentiment.  The lace is scrap and the ribbon from Mike's $1 bin.  The charm is made from poly shrink.  I believe it is Shrinky Dinks brand in almond.  I stamped with Burnt Umber Hybrid ink, cut out, punched a hole in the middle, shrank and then put a glass head pin through.  Close ups are after the inspiration photo.
  Thanks for looking!

Happy H{ippity}Monday!!
Here are my last two cards for my workshop.  The star on the "birthday wishes", you guessed it, is made from fimo and the sign for "thanks so much" was made by my Cricut (Home Accents Cart).  Check back next week, I should have the final time and date for this workshop and possibly kits available for purchase.  Thanks for looking!  Here's the link to Audrey's Blog, I believe she is next on the "hop route."

Last week's Challenge was to make a shaped card.  I decided to go simple.  I used the Indie Art Cart from Cricut to cut the bandage shape and of course I used {ippity}'s Just Wanted to Say- feel better soon.

Here are two more of the cards we are going to make in my card workshop this month.  The buckle for "thinking of you" was made from a mini cookie cutter and fimo clay.  Thanks for looking.

I am currently working on a set of six cards to teach at my first {ippity} workshop.  Here are the first two, I'm using the Just Wanted to Say set.  The "feel better soon" card was inspired by a card I saw in an old issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.  I added my own twist to it, the metal artist label is made from  a Coca Cola can and the sentiment is stamped on a tag I made from Fimo Clay.  The "you are amazing" card is made with strips of My Minds Eye paper.  I love the quality of My Minds Eye paper, it is actually heavier than most cardstock you can buy from the big box stores.  Thanks for looking!!
