Last week Team {ippity} decided to host a HUGE CHALLENGE to kick off 2011. Check it out here (last week's). The first part was to create a project using the sketch below. I used So this is Love stamp kit, scrap ribbon and paper (still trying not to cut a new sheet of paper). I also used a Martha Stewart deep edge punch (new toy, so I'm using it a lot) the side scallop was made with decorative scissors.
This card was made for my personal challenge "Magazine Monday." I'm using a sketch from the January/February 2010 issue of Paper Crafts magazine (found on pg. 19). The base is made from Kraft card stock. The rest is pieced from scrap ribbon and paper. The 3 little white dots are actually tiny shells, I tried to take a close up, but the camera would not cooperate. The images are from Farm Fresh (used Haystack and Burnt Umber Palette Ink). Thanks for looking!
